Looking through the photos of your life, you see smiling family members, celebrations, moments.. The smile on your face masks the reality of your anxiety; the fight you had with your spouse, and the worry that parenting is harder than you realized. One snapshot depicts a moment but doesn’t reveal the whole picture of you.
Another snapshot highlights the lines of worry on your face. They tell the story of a life that has not played out the way you have envisioned it. Bad choices. A diagnosis. Broken relationships. Those lines don’t lie and they are hard to hide.
You have been trying to convince yourself that tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow comes and by noon, you feel life’s demands take over and your vows of a fresh start dissipate.
Those racing thoughts remind you that you have been down this road before with declarations of change that are empty promises to yourself. Anxiety, fear, hurt, loneliness, shame and grief are your constant companions. Past events plague your mind.
It is time to seek help, talk to someone. Figure out what is the “thing” that has you stuck. You're just surviving and this status quo exhausts you.

My Approach To Counseling:
I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families thrive. I believe that there is no pain that cannot be healed.
My approach begins by providing a safe environment where trust is established between the client-counselor relationship. Using an attachment lens to lay out the groundwork, we will focus on those early connections and current relationships. This lays out a framework of exploring emotional patterns and interpersonal dynamics. I use an integrative approach to meet my client where they are.
I believe the vehicle of connection is the best way God uses to bring about healing and growth.
Cost: $120 / 50 minute session
